Every piece of equipment in a Kids Engine program is donated. Your donated laptops, tablets, robotics kits, and lab instruments can reach children in communities with limited access while staying out of landfills.

What happens to donated equipment
- We review each item for safety, condition, and program fit.
- We clean, reset, repair, or prepare equipment when needed.
- We match tools to age-appropriate STEAM activities.
- We deliver equipment through schools, libraries, community centers, youth organizations, and partner sites.
- We share stories, photos when appropriate, usage summaries, and impact updates with partners.

Local partners know their learners and communities best. We work with schools, libraries, educators, and community organizations to understand local needs, available resources, language and access considerations, and what is realistic in each setting.
